Q: What is included in our Maintenance Agreement?

A: A Maintenance Agreement (contract) covers many of the potential pitfalls that occur when you use your equipment.  In general, (although the actual coverage varies by machine and terms), the following items are covered under our standard Maintenance Agreement:

  • Priority Scheduling for service questions and issues

  • Toner

  • Developer

  • Preventive Maintenance kits

  • Drums

  • All other parts & supplies except paper and staples

 

Coverage details regarding Maintenance Agreements:

For the purpose of maintaining the equipment covered by this type of agreement, in good condition, Accu-Copy Sales & Service, LLC. (hereinafter referred to as ACU) agrees to perform the maintenance service in accordance with the following terms and conditions:
1. The agreement shall be a term of one calendar year or the maximum number of copies, prints, or scans set forth t herein, whichever comes first.
2. The agreement shall not cover any equipment damaged through accident, abuse, misuse, theft, neglect, acts of a third party (including terrorism), fire, water, power surges, casualty, or any other natural forces. Furthermore, ACU does not assume any responsibility or liability for alterations, modifications of, or damage to any equipment serviced by personnel other than those employed by or authorized by ACU nor does this agreement cover the service necessitated by malfunction of any alteration or modification to the equipment unless specifically mentioned or authorized by the equipment manufacturer.
3. In the event that any equipment is moved from the location set forth herein, at ACU's option the agreement pertaining to the moved equipment may be terminated and/or may be subject to additional charges. A Maintenance Agreement is a non-refundable contract between you, your company, or your representatives and ACU.
4. The agreement is not assignable or transferable without prior written consent from ACU.
5. Under the term of the agreement you agree not to hold ACU responsible for any machine malfunctions caused by the use of unsatisfactory supplies. Furthermore, the customer agrees that ACU shall not incur any liability to the customer for any loss of business, loss of profits, expenses incurred, or any damages, whether incidental or consequential.
6. All equipment must be in good condition on the effective date of this agreement or any renewal thereof. When in ACU's opinion a shop repair or reconditioning is necessary because normal servicing cannot keep the equipment in satisfactory operating condition, ACU will submit a cost estimate which if approved by the customer will be in addition to maintenance agreement charges herein. Such repairs shall require removal of equipment by ACU to its repair facilities for such a period of time as shall be necessary to effect repairs, adjustments or reconditioning.
7. The initial charge for maintenance under the agreement shall be the amount set forth therein. The renewal maintenance charge will be the charge in effect at that time and shall automatically be renewed upon expiration.
