Q:
What is ‘Push-Type’ network scanning?
A:
'Push-Type' network scanning
is the ability to scan a document(s) at the scanner (copier), and
select whose computer you are going to send the scanned document
to.
This is usually
accomplished by selecting the recipient from an address book on
the copier/scanner, and then scanning in the document. The
documents typically are sent to the recipient as TIFF (Picture) or
PDF (Adobe Acrobat) format.
