Our copier turns off or goes into sleep mode too soon. Can this be
changed? A: In almost all cases, you can adjust the sleep mode timer to wait a little while longer before your equipment goes into sleep mode. Sleep mode came into being as a Government mandate to conserve electricity, so after a short time, Energy-Star compliant equipment will partially shut themselves down to conserve power. What is left on once your device is general the fuser heater to allow for a quicker warm up time to get you copying again. --
