Q:
We think our machine has a paper jam. What do we do?
A:
Remove the paper that
is jammed in your machine. Normally when there is a
paper jam, there is a message on your display, or there is a light
that shines next to a lightning bolt type picture.
On most of the newer machines, there is also a
jam 'code', which will indicate where the jam actually is.
Normally you can open the front cover of the machine and there
would be a diagram of the machine, and a 'code' next to each of
the points that a piece of paper would normally jam.
Sometimes you may need to look up the 'code' in the book that came
with your machine to locate the jam. It will also tell you
how to clear the jam.
If you have tried all of the procedures
indicated on the front cover, or in the manual, and you still
cannot locate your jam, then contact us for service.
